Looks to me as though someone has carried out sand mining around those bunkers, some time in the past. Which is why they're been exposed so deep, right down to the base foundations. That could explain the table, and beds, in the command bunker, too. Maybe the workers stayed on site between shifts. Still, it is an interesting way to actual see the entire structure. Really gives you a good idea of how much time, material, and effort, was put into building this monsters. Looking forward to seeing what other intersesting sights you will bring us, in the next Part. Stupid question, what was the normal method of building the bunker in general, dig down to start with and build in the hole , or build on the surface and pile dirt all around?

Its sad they want to destroy all this stuff like in the uk there is not much left most of the costal stuff is gone and there is stuff around the country but 99% of it has been coverd up you find a good amount of the cold war stuff but a lot of that has been covered up but people found ways to get into that stuff such a shame they destroy this history as the younger generation have no clue about most of this stuff

So happy you were able to get into some of these bunkers. You could never carry enough equipment to be able to get into many of these bunkers. That was unusual to see the bunk beds and tables and chairs in the one bunker. I wonder if someone used for their holidays they took in the area. Seeing the ground around these bunkers not being there really shows how thick the floor were in them. A good foundation makes for a stronger structure. Very nice exploration.

Just amazed at how high above ground the entrances were for these bunkers, would they have had stairways in, or os it just te sand has been moved away from them? Well found EE, these were special. That was an interesting location! I do wonder why the bunkers were dug up around them. Was it done to keep people from getting inside them? Great spot, I can't wait for the next video!

Were these walls panelled inside. It looks as if there was something covering the brickwork? I think they were stripped after the war by the MoD Facinating place

Another great video, my friend. With the bunkers so far above ground and looking at the area, the problem is twofold: keeping people out and needing gravel for post-war construction. These were great finds by EE. Correct tree climbing is becoming a lost art with today's youth. Great job, gentlemen. Stay safe and well out there on the current expedition.

Those bunkers and to think you had to climb a tree, I know that like me you do not like heights so am very very glad you took the chance. It does seem to me they have done it deliberately to keep people out. You mentioned that the Luftwaffe are near by is this on a training ground for them? Those bunk beds look like they’ve been there awhile. Those chairs look 1970ish. My guess is someone used it as a camping place or doomsday peepers when it was still dry. This one looks like it’s close to the bunker that has the sand removed from around it. Maybe the people who were used these bunkbeds cleared out the sand from around the other bunker. Well, until water creeped in and drive them out.

Great explore. Wonder why they removed so much soil from the bunkers, must have needed it for something. Thank you HH and EE for the tour, can't wait for part 3.

You are like real mountain climbers. You climb trees without fear of falling. The first bunker you visited where you climbed a tree had quite a lot of concrete under it... wasn't there a basement there?

It’s interesting to see the boots, clothing, razors, toothbrushes, and other personal items. If there were thousands of military there am inclined to believe there must have been a medical/hospital area. These items may have belonged to soldiers who did not make it or were sent home.
